Treatment Overview
If you would love to banish your cellulite, the first step to take is to book a free consultation with one of our specialists. We will carry out a full assessment of the area to classify which grade and variation your cellulite falls under.
The Science
Cellulite affects around 80% of women over the age of 20. The reason behind this is due to the way in which the body stores fat, this creates a dimpled ‘orange-peel’ appearance that so many people dislike. Some people think cellulite is a reflection of poor diet and lack of exercise, however this is not the case. The dimpled effect is caused by the deeper structures, which although not life-threatening, can be a real bugbear for our clients.
Grades of cellulite
Grade 1 – Non visible dimpling, even when the skin is pinched.
Grade 2 – Seen only when the skin is pinched.
Grade 3 – Visible while standing up, but not when lying down.
Grade 4 – Evident when standing up or lying down.

FAQ
What is cellulite?
Cellulite is pockets of excess fat that results in uneven and lumpy appearance of the skin. The areas under the skin which have cellulite contain damaged collagen walls.
Am I suitable candidate for the Cellulite Treatment?
If you would like to improve the appearance of your cellulite on your thighs, hips, buttocks, and abdomen then you are a perfect candidate for our cellulite plan. If you wish to contour unwanted bulges and disproportionate fatty areas, you will also gain excellent results.
How many sessions do I need?
The number of sessions needed will be dependent on the severity of your cellulite and other factors. This will be discussed in a detailed consultation with our specialist who will create a personalised plan consisting of a course of treatments. Patients will require weekly sessions of our Cellulite Treatment to achieve optimum results. On average, a course of treatments is usually 5-6 sessions. Once the desired results are achieved, the effects can last for years. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 12 weeks.
Why is it more visible on the legs and bum?
Cellulite normally affects areas that are more prone to fat gain and the thighs and the buttocks are the most common areas for fat storage.
Is cellulite inherited?
Genetics can play a part in whether you’ll develop cellulite, so if your parents experience it, you’re more likely to see it yourself.
What causes cellulite?
There are certain lifestyle factors which contribute to deposition of fat cells such as lack of exercise and not the right kind of diet. Too tight clothing that restricts the blood flow for longer intervals can also lead to cellulite. Hormones and genetics also play a key role in formation of cellulite.
Is all cellulite the same?
No, not all cellulite is the same, there are a few different types.
If you lose weight, will you automatically lose cellulite?
The appearance of fat cells decreases as we lose weight. So losing weight will definitely help your cellulite to look better, but it never completely goes. As you will gain weight again, the cellulite will come back again in those exact same areas.
Are there any risks associated with the Cellulite Treatment?
The treatments used within our cellulite treatment are very safe and pose no long-term health hazards. All possible side effects will be explained during your consultation. Side effects usually consist of slight redness or numbness in the target area following treatment.
