Treatment Overview
The HIFU Facelift is a lifting and firming treatment that allows clients to achieve younger and healthier looking skin. The Science
HIFU targets deep down in the foundation layer of your skin, the same layer addressed in cosmetic surgery. The HIFU procedure bypasses the surface of the skin, and delivers targeted energy specifically into the deep, structural tissues and muscles where collagen lives.
HIFU involves penetrating ultra-sound energy to stimulate collagen production in the deep dermal and sub dermal levels, which results in micro injury to that tissue. As the tissue heals, it increases collagen and as the collagen fibres organise and shorten, a tightening effect is seen on the skin.*
The Procedure
Our HIFU treatment starts with a comprehensive consultation. We want to know more about your goals and your background so we can help you choose the perfect procedure to help meet your needs.
Once we begin your treatment your skin will be cleansed, and a gel is applied to the area. The HIFU applicator is then applied gently to the skin, working across the entire area. This lasts between 20 and 90 minutes, dependent on the area.

What People are Saying

“A fresh, natural and more lifted look”
"As I am keen on non-invasive procedures, I was advised that a HIFU treatment would give me a fresh, natural and more lifted look. The neck and jaw area were my main concern. The results after the treatment are fantastic and the area has definitely visibly improved and tightened. I am delighted. Thank you!"
Helen

“I highly recommend”
"I booked with Lavish Body Clinic to have the HIFU treatment and am so glad I did, I have had people commenting on how well I look and I know with the HIFU the full effects are still to come. There are not enough stars to rate my experience! I highly recommend."
Sandra

“Instant lift”
"Natalia did my treatment and she was great. I had HIFU ultrasound facelift. I have had HIFU twice and has given me an instant lift although my skin is still tightening over time. Recommend this clinic for cosmetic aesthetic procedures"

FAQ
How does HIFU Facelift feel?
Our non-surgical HIFU Facelift is a non-invasive treatment but may cause the client a slight discomfort. You may feel a slight pain, warmth or heat, as the HIFU applicator is applied. Any discomfort is usually very brief, the level of discomfort usually depends on the area being treated, the clients skin sensitivity and the settings being used (though these can be altered to suit the client’s needs).
How long till I see results?
Clients may see 10-15% of their results instantly, but ultimately lifting and firming will take place over approximately 3 months, as collagen is renewed and replaced with new, stronger collagen. As this collagen building process continues, continued improvements can appear for up to 6 months. *
How long do HIFU results last?
Most people find results last over 1 year, although yearly touch-up treatments are recommended to stay ahead of the ageing process. *
Is HIFU classed as surgery?
No. While the ultrasound treatment does target the deep layer of skin often addressed in surgery, it does not involve general anaesthetic or cutting the skin in any way.
Can HIFU replace a face lift?
Although HIFU is not a replacement for surgery, it is ideal for people who wish to uplift the face and neck but who are not ready for surgery – either psychologically, financially or logistically. It is considered more of an ‘uplift’ than a ‘facelift’ and can be combined with other non-surgical lifting treatments to further enhance the results.*
Who is a good candidate for HIFU Facelift?
A good candidate is someone who is aged 30+ who has noticed that the skin on their face or neck has become more lax and wishes to lift and tighten the relevant area. For patients in their 30s it is typically used to stimulate collagen production and hence help delay the ageing process. Patients in their 40s and 50s are the most common age group who have this treatment. It is also for those aged 60+ or who have had surgery in the past to prolong to effects of surgical facelifts.*
How long does the treatment take?
Between 30-90 minutes, depending on area to be treated.
What kind of results do you get with HIFU Facelift?
This treatment addresses skin that is mild to moderately loose or lax, specifically by reconditioning and renewing the skin from within. It will lift the brow, which in turn reduces excess skin on the eyelids, opens up the eyes, and gives a more refreshed look overall. Patients will benefit from firmer, more toned skin in others areas of the face and neck as well.*
Will I need more than one treatment?
The majority of patients need only one treatment; however, some may benefit from more than one treatment (depending on how much laxity they have and their body’s own biological response to the ultrasound and collagen rebuilding process).*
Is there any downtime?
There is normally no downtime or recovery time needed. Most people return to normal activities right away.
